Can we say I am a little stressed? Let me tell you what all I have to do the next couple of weeks.... First, Sam has to finish his classes this week. (Not that I am really stressed about this, but it sets the stage for some other stuff I guess) Well, Sam has his graduation this coming Saturday (YAY!!) and I am trying to arrange times when everyone will be up here, how many seats I am going to have to save, and how I am going to arrange the babysitting for nieces and nephews.. and try to figure out the eating afterwards, and all that. Then the weekend after that we are moving. This is where the stress comes from.
In order to move, I have to find a storage unit that we can store our stuff in. I have to arrange everything in our apartment so that I can find what I need in a storage shed. I need to arrange transportation of everything down, I need to cancel utilities and get all of that settled. I need to pay all the rest of our bills, I need to clean our apartment, I have to get all the rest of our paperwork turned in, and I have to do it all with a newborn. And I have less than 2 weeks to do it, and I have barely started!! I am SO stressed out!! Plus, I am trying to start up my business down in Utah County. Hopefully this will be easier than I think it will be...but it probably won't. You know...when I write it down like this..it doesn't seem like a lot, but when I let me head start analizing everything and thinking about it, I almost start hyperventilating about it!! It's crazy!! So...that is what my next couple of weeks look like, so hopefully (this is for you Michelle!) I will still be able to post often! We will see...but if you don't see a post from me for a few days, shoot me an e-mail!
Oh, and if you check out my photography blog, I have a contest going on...so make sure to check it out!

Goal for 2008
Ok, so I am going to post one of my goals this year. It is for my business...but I am hoping to get enough money with photography that I can buy this...
For those who aren't sure what this is...it is the Nikon D3. I WANT THIS CAMERA!! There is nothing else to say about it other than it is AWESOME!! It has a full frame sensor, so it will be comparable (although still not the same) to shooting film! And you can shoot with a higher ISO (meaning I can shoot in lower light settings without using a flash!) Yee haw!
So..by posting this here, I am hoping that I will be able to succeed, and accomplish this goal! Of course, by the time that I am able to afford this camera, they will probably have come out with a better one that I will be drooling over. But it is a start! Yay!! Ok...so now you know my passion, and what I search for online late at night...I am a sad individual.
So...if you know of anyone who needs a photographer for ANYTHING, send them my way! If they book a session with me, and they mention that you sent them...you could get something awesome! Maybe I will have to come up with a raffle drawing or something...or something free for you...who knows, but I will come up with it! If you have any ideas on anything that will motivate you to send people my way..let me know and I will consider it! Yay!!

So here are a couple of pictures that we took today of bubba. Again, Liz from Liz Photoz and I got together to take some pictures. Here are a couple that I took...
A shout out to Liz for letting us use her kitchen table and her windows! We were going to try to go outside, but it was SNOWING!! Crazy Utah weather. So THANK YOU LIZ!!!
And here are a couple of him smiling. SO CUTE!! I LOVE it!! He is now starting to smile at us when we look at him or talk to him. It melts my heart EVERY TIME!!! Tonight, he even started giggling a little when he smiled, and I cried..it was just amazing to think that he was smiling at me. He was recognizing me. I am SO in love...
Enjoy!!

Our family..
So we had a WONDERFUL photographer take our pictures yesterday. (I would have...but it is hard to be in front of the camera and behind the camera at the same time...) So this photographer is Liz from Liz Photoz and we have been good friends for about a year and a half. So she was nice enough to take pictures for us, and once she has her little one, I will be returning the favor! So here is a sample of some of the pictures we have gone through. Enjoy!
Oh, and you can now see what my hair looks like now! It is LONG, and somewhat blonde. Hehe. Let me know what you think!

Pretty Blue Eyes
So here is my nephew. He has got to be one of the CUTEST boys in the world! I mean, look at those eyes!! He is going to break many hearts when he is older! He wasn't in the best mood, so we didn't get any of him smiling, but we will work on that this weekend hopefully! But he is a doll! He wasn't sure what to think of our little guy, so he mainly just looked at him like "what the.." it was still cute. I just love this guy, and I could kiss his cheeks off!!
See how cute he is!! So adorable!
Handsome Boy...
So...I finally got a bunch of stuff together, and tried doing a photoshoot of bubba. He DID NOT want to go to sleep, so all of them are him awake! I will have to wait to get some asleep shots when he is actually deep in sleep! But here are some of them. I have converted them differently also, and those I will post on my other blog. So click here. So enjoy, and I will come back and update about our weekend!
I had him in this long sleeve onsie, because it SNOWED yesterday! Grr...I just want it to be spring!!
Enjoy!

Little Minds..
I have been busy!! After getting sick this weekend (Monday was THE WORST!) I decided that since I felt better today, I would get cleaning done! I cleaned our kitchen, which included doing dishes, cleaning the counters, stove, and everything, and scrubbing the floor. I actually got down on my hands and knees and SCRUBBED that floor! It looks and feels so much better! I also cleaned our front room, and I did 2 batches of laundry. I realise how hard it is is to clean when you have to stop half way through to feed, change or cuddle someone! But alas..it is getting done! Luckily for me, I have a VERY mild baby, so he would just sit there and watch me.
Also this morning, I was sitting there watching and talking with him while he was awake, and he gave me the BIGGEST grin!! It was SO cute! my heart melted, and I just hugged and kissed him! And as I sit here with him in my lap, he is asleep. I always wonder what they dream about when they are sleeping...he just sits here and moves his eyes around and smiles in his sleep...I keep thinking that he is getting his last instructions before the veil closes all the way.
But let's see if I have any pictures I can share....
Here is his little ear basically. I LOVE his ears...actually I love everything about him!
Here is one of his "looks". He is wondering what the snot I am doing putting him in a basket with a fuzzy blanket!
Until next time!

Conference Weekend
I absolutely LOVE conference! With our religion, we have what's called General Conference twice a year. It is when we listen to our Prophet, and other leaders of our church speak. They are so uplifting! I can always tell when it is time for conference to come, as I start to get more onry, and I am just not in a good mood usually! So conference comes around and it usually lifts my spirits SO much!! I LOVE it! You can see more information at http://www.lds.org/. It is AMAZING!!
One of the main points that they spoke about this year was families. And how we believe they can be together forever. I love the fact that if I live how I am supposed to, I will never have to say goodbye to my family. AWESOME! But I loved the speakers, and I can't wait until the Ensign comes out, so I can read through them again!
And, as Michelle states, I am not supposed to leave a post without pictures...so here you go. These were taken on Friday afternoon. Melanie was WONDERFUL enough to totally pamper me on Saturday morning. She highlighted my hair, waxed my eyebrows, and gave me a pedicure. It was awesome. I was in heaven. So THANK YOU MELL!! You are awesome! I will post an "after" picture to show what I look like now! Yay!

Here is a position that bubba likes to sleep in. After he eats, and we burp him, he always falls asleep like this. Usually it is with one or both hands under his head. SO cute!
There you go! Enjoy!

The Little Guy
Here are a couple of pictures that we took today. He was hungry...so he didn't sit still for very long! This is how he sleeps. With his arms above his head! He will fuss if we try to swaddle him, but if we let his hands go, he will just relax. Silly boy!
I am going to try to get some more this weekend. But these are the ones I liked from today! Enjoy!
Home!
Here are some pictures as promised!! This is our first day as a little family together!
All snug in his car seat
Okay, I will try to keep this updated more! We are now home!! YAY!! We are adjusting to home life, and doing well! He has his two week appointment on Monday. I can't believe he is already almost 2 weeks old!!
