Well, I think I am going crazy!! Sam and I are both SICK. Sam is coughing, and can't stop, and my head is so stuffed up that I think it will explode. We were miserable last night! At 2:00 we tried to go up to bed, and neither of us could sleep! We ended up taking Tylonol, and that helped us at least sleep. But I am stuck down in bed, and miserable. Along with being miserable, I am bored out of my MIND!!! Hopefully the bath that I will be taking here shortly will help somewhat...
Why is it that people get sick at the most difficult times! It's the holiday's for crying out loud! But alas...we will get over it. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
Sam starts school in just over a week. Last semester here! I am so excited about it! He is going to be looking around at jobs down in Utah County, so we can be ready when he is done.
Ah, we are so excited for this next year! So many exciting things happening! It will be a very exciting year! Well, I am off to take my bath...ahh...relaxation...

Vacation
I am so sad that our vacation is over! We really didn't want to leave Santaquin. We had so much fun, that it was hard to pull away. I spent the time driving home, trying to convince Sam that we needed to move today! But alas, no such luck. We had a lot of fun! Sam spent time sledding with our nieces and nephew, and we did our best to try and help out wherever we could. We spent Christmas with them, and had SO much fun. Unfortunately Sam became sick while down there, and he now has a viral infection in his lungs. So we are working on getting him to feel better!
We had an AMAZING Christmas! And we are so thankful for everything we have. We didn't have to spend Christmas alone (Thanks mom for your prayers!) and Santa was very good to us.
We also got to spend our nieces first birthday with her, and she was just ADORABLE! She has started saying "A-boo" to people (like peek-a-boo) and it is just so cute! You could wake up to her saying that to you, trying to get you to wake up, and it just melts your heart! The other's were just as cute! With Kasia singing "You Are My Sunshine" and taking random objects and creating a story from them, and Sierra doing any trick she could to show how strong she is! She is the only 6 year old that I know of that can do military press push ups! (For those who don't know what that is, it is where they do a hand stand against a wall, and do push ups with just their arms) And she doesn't just do 1 or 2, she will crank out like 10 of them! She is STRONG and fearless! Tagan loved to color. And even though he was so tired, he still wanted to color. You would hear "mom, I am tired of coloring, but I just can't stop!" He then wanted his mom to come and color for him so he could take a break. SO CUTE!
I got to spend time shopping, and we stayed awake late every night, just to watch TV, and edit pictures! We tried to do a photoshoot every day, and I think we did well, until the end when it snowed and it was just too cold to go outside!
But now we are back to work, and back to the same ol' stuff.
We have almost completed our adoption paperwork. We should have everything together within the next couple of weeks to get it all put in. HOPEFULLY! We are still really excited for what 2008 is going to bring for us!
Well...I have rambled on long enough! I will end this with a couple of pictures from our vacation. Thanks for looking!

Saturday's
I just absolutely love Saturday's where I get to sit around and do absolutely nothing. Like right now, for instance, I get to sit around and write posts while listening to my favorite music...heaven.
Oh and I have another movie recommendation. We went and saw Fred Clause the other night. It is a cute movie! If you like movies like "The Santa Clause" with Tim Allen, you will like this movie. There are parts that will make you laugh, and it is a cute movie, especially for this time of year. So if you are wondering what movie to see...see that one!
Sam is at work, and I am sitting here at home. I have everything cleaned that needs to be cleaned (except for the kitchen...I am kind of putting it off...), my pictures are edited that need to be edited, and I have nothing to do. I thought I would sit for a minute before my life got crazy again...
Sam's brother's wedding is a week from yesterday. Let me go through a day by day idea of what we are going to be doing...
Saturday - (Today) As I mentioned, Sam is working. We are meeting up for a temple night with family members, and then I have been volunteered to give a perm. (I am not too excited for this....) So we will be giving my mother-in-law a perm after that, and then HOPEFULLY hanging out with friends.
Sunday - A day to relax, ahh..we will probably visit relatives, or finish up baking all of our goody plates. (We did this last week and made some of the YUMMIEST stuff! We made peppermint bark, white chocolate covered pretzels, and mini cheescakes...yum). Anyway...so a "Do whatever we want day"
Monday - Work from 9-3:30 (Normally it is one of my 10 hours days, but I am getting off early...), and then our adoption interview! Of which I am VERY excited for! Then family night.
Tuesday- Sam's brother gets into town from Wisconsin. (Yay! We are excited to see them, since we haven't seen them in like 3 years, and we haven't met two of our nieces!) Sam also has 2 finals this day, and I work from 1-6:30.
Wednesday- Work from 9-7. Yee haw. Sam will be studying when he is not working.
Thursday - Sam has 2 more finals, and then he will be DONE! (well for this semester anyway...but then only ONE semester left before he graduates!! YAY!!) I will be working from 1-6:30 again. Aaron and Melanie comes into town with their kiddios. (Yay!! I am very excited for this also!) They will be staying with us, and we will party this night.
Friday - Nathan's wedding! Kellie will be coming down for us to do her hair that morning, and then the wedding, then the luncheon at 1:00 and then I am taking family pictures right after that, before the reception. The reception will be this night.
Saturday-My In-Laws Wedding Anniversary. Aaron and Melanie will leave as Aaron has a test that he is taking for his contractors liscense. (Yay Aaron!) We will probably be heading down to Salt Lake to go to the Mo-Tab Christmas Concert with my family, and then spending the night down there.
Sunday - Curtis's birthday! (My brother) He will be ordained a Teacher at church, and then a get together afterwards. Willie and his family will probably be heading back to Wisconsin this day. And we will be traveling down to Santaquin for our vacation.
From Monday (17th) to Sunday (the 23rd) We will be vacationing, and doing photo shoots every day of the week. We will also be down there for my nieces birthday. Sam will be fixing the car, and also possibly working for his uncle some of the time. And then we will come back and be back for our normal lives.
So as you can see, I am going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks, and might not find the time to post! But I will do my best to post on Monday to let you all know how things went! Thanks for reading, and sorry this turned into a novel....Have a good week!

Update-
Ok, we actually going to be doing the interview on Monday instead of on Thursday! Yay!!! It is moved up a few days!! I am SO excited!!
So exciting....
I just wanted to let you all know that we got our first appointment set up with LDSFS. This is going to be our intake interview, and this is also where we put down $1000. Yikes! It is where they will go over everything with us, and where we will start the rest of our paperwork. I am SO excited to get this on the road!! Anyway, our interview is going to be on Thursday December 13th. We could have done it earlier, but it would have clashed with Sam's finals. And I really don't want to cause any distractions for him during that time. So it will be on the day of his last final. YAY!!!! I am SO excited!!!
This also brings up another point. Sam only has 1 WEEK LEFT!!! (Well for this semester anyway...) And then it is only 1 semester left before he walks and we can move!!! This means, at most, only 5 more months at Icon! Yay!!! Sam has been doing so well in his schooling the last couple of years. It is great to see him doing something that he loves! So that is exciting for us.
I went to the doctor yesterday to check my ear from when I jammed a q-tip in it a couple months ago (yea, yea, yea...trust me, I've heard it all already...) and they pulled a huge scab out of my ear canal. So hopefully now my ear will start to heal and STOP hurting! I have to put ear drops in every six hours, which has proven to be a pain....
So that is an update on our life. So exciting eh? Thanks for reading!

Tagged!!
Alright, I have been tagged. I tried putting it off, but I had two people tag me....so I guess I better get crackin.
What I do is list 6 things that people may not know about me, then I will tag whoever else (is there anyone else to tag?) and they will have to do the same thing. Alright..here goes...
1. I LOVE hot dogs. I love to eat them cold, in eggs, in mac n cheese, on buns, corndogs, in pork and beans, in anything pretty much. I don't know what it is...people have tried to scare me away from them by telling me how they are made...and I DON'T CARE!!! I love them anyway!!! yummm...I might have to head to the fridge after this....
2. I really don't like the sound of people brushing their teeth. Just the sound of it makes me gag. Probably because I picture the toothbrush swishing around in someone else's mouth, and BLECH! I just don't like it.
3. I have to sleep with something by my face. Whether it is a pillow, blanket, my arm, whatever. I just have to have something touching my face to fall asleep. I grew up with a blanket that I used for a pillow, and it was always by my face. If I don't have something there...I can not fall asleep.
4. I work on cars. This is mainly due to being married to a guy who loves to work on them. I am not at all good at it by any means, but my hands can get into places that other's can't. So I am asked to get the hard bolts. (Either that, or I get them anyway, just to rub it in Sam's face that I could get it, and he couldn't...) I have had grease up to my elbows, and have cut my hands a few times trying to help Sam do this.
5. I am very shy. I have had a lot of people think that I am stuck up, and snotty. But it is just because I don't open up to a lot of people. I try to be very approachable, but sometimes, I am just intimidated, and shy. I am getting better at it though. I can talk to people more openly than before.
6. I always sneeze at least 4 times in a row. It is not uncommon for me to sneeze 10 times in a row. I don't know what it is, if it is something in the air, or what, but I sneeze. And I sneeze A LOT. I thought it was just allergys, but it is all year round. We thought it was something in our last apartment, but we moved and I am still doing it! ACK!
Alright, there are the things about me that you might not have known. I now tag Melanie, and no one else, because I don't know many other blogs...I am very unpopular in this aspect...Oh well. Have fun Mel!!

Good News!!
Well we finally have some VERY good news! There are actually 2 bits of information that I am going to share with you.
#1: We got our papers turned in! - Yes that's right, we turned in our first round of papers today. We will wait a couple of weeks at the most before we are assigned to a caseworker. Once assigned to a caseworker we will proceed with, you guessed it, MORE PAPERWORK! The average time to get approved for adoption is 5 months. The record was 1 month. So we are going to try and get approved ASAP, so we can get approved before moving! So we are officially on the road to adopting. Yay!! SO exciting!
#2: You will remember my older post about Sam's schooling costing way to much? Well, we don't have to pay all that! We origionally thought that we had to pay a surcharge due to him having so many credits. But lo and behold, we found out today that he doesn't have to pay it! This is going to save us at leat $4,000 on ONE semester of school! We are very excited for this, because the money that we were putting towards that, we can now put towards adoption, and the rest to pay anything else we want to pay! I am SO excited about this! This is such an answer to prayers!
So anyway. This has been a good day, other than the fact that I had to work today. :-P. But we survived. Yay! And Thanksgiving is coming up, and right now we have so much to be thankful for! Well, I guess I better get back to working on pictures. I just thought that I would give an update. Have a great one!

Stinkin HTML...
Well, I am almost fed up with my website! I am trying to change the HTML in my website, but my template isn't letting me. And even then I am not sure how to do it! It is driving me NUTS!!! ARGHH!!!!
Anyway, I am sure that I will be able to figure it out one way or another, just impatient I guess.
Well, our first round of papers is all filled out! Yay! We are on our way! We just have to have our Bishop get his papers in and we will be starting. Yikes! Kinda nerve wracking, but exciting none the less.
We went and saw a movie the other day called "Dan in Real Life" and it is SO funny! We were laughing SO hard! There is a line in there where a girl screams "YOU ARE A MURDERER OF LOVE!!!" And it just makes you laugh until you cry. Hilarious. Highly recommended.
But anyway. I need people to photograph! I am getting bored, and want to take more pictures!! Maybe I can convince my neighbor to let me take pictures of their child...hmm...anyone else?
Well, I guess I best be off to bed. Have a good day!

Another Day
Well, I have finished another 10 hour day at Icon. blech. The good news is that I survived! Yay! And I actually got a break today! I worked 10 hours on Wednesday without getting a single break. I didn't get to eat lunch or anything. Needless to say I was peeved and starving when I got home!!
But I just thought that I would come on and post this wonderful and exciting news. There really hasn't been anything too exciting going on in life. Oh! I get a WORK FREE WEEKEND! I have nothing planned this weekend. And that means a lot of sleeping in, and working on pictures. Yay!!
We also got Sam registered for school for Spring semester! THAT is very exciting! That will be his LAST semester here at Utah State! (He will actually be taking 2 more classes in the summer, but they are online classes so we don't have to be up here!) The sad thing about it is that we will be leaving all of our friends. But we will be moving to where we already have friends! So that is very exciting news. The bad news about registering for school is that we have to pay out of state tuition for this last semester. Because of some of the engineering classes he took, his credits are way to high. So that is a few more thousand for that! I just don't understand the school system! They encourage everyone and pretty much make it impossible to get a job without a college degree, but they make it SO stinkin expensive to do it! Just this year Utah State not only increased it's normal undergradute tuition, but it also increased the business program tuition. And they increased it by more than 4%! That is RIDICULOUS! I am SO sick of paying for school! And we don't even have any kids in school! I am missing the high school days where it didn't cost very much to attend! What is the logic to raising school tuition? I just don't understand it! I think they should come up with a school that has dirt cheap tuition, but then is still fairly hard to get into (like BYU, or something like that) But make it worth it to get in. Right now it is almost like the more you pay, the better school you are in. And that shouldn't be the case. *grunt*snort*sigh*
Alright, I will get off of my soapbox for that. And I think I have made this my longest post EVER on a blog! That is also very exciting....;-)

Acting like a kid...
So the other night some of my relative were over and we had a HUGE pile of leaves to jump in out at Sam's parents house. So we decided to jump. My niece and nephew had SO much fun doing it! And after taking pictures of them, I decided it looked too fun to pass up. To those who don't think I act like a kid anymore...I beg to differ. :-)

Random Thoughts
So I went to the eye doctor today. It is a sad thought that when you look, and the doctor tells you that you can't squint, and so therefore can't see anything. I really can't see without contacts or glasses! That is so sad!
I am supposed to be working from home. But the computer that we are set up with isn't working correctly, so it looks like I will still have my Tuesday's and Thursday's off.
I have also come down with a cold, or at least a sore throat. So I have been feeling kind of lazy, and tired, and just wanting to go to bed.
Why are there spiders? I really don't like spiders, and I am trying to figure out why they are here to begin with. What is their purpose?
I have adoption papers here ready to be filled out, but I just don't feel the urge to fill them out. Is this bad? I am not sure. I want to fill them out I really do, we both feel good about doing it, but I just can't being myself to do it. This might be due to the fact that I don't really want to come up with $1000 dollars right off of the bat. I mean I want to, but I don't see how it is possible. Why is it that the things that we want the most in life are the hardest to get? I just don't get it. Hmm..
Well, I guess I better end this random posting, and get back to life...
